LPD-25
Synthetic Detergent for Milling, Fulling & Scouring Woolen, Shoddy & Worsted Farbics...
LPD-25 is a low
cost but effective modified Sulphonic Acid (Acid Slurry) Designed
expresly for use in the milling, fulling and scouring of woolen, shoddy
and worsted farbics. It was compounded specifically to emulsify fatty
materials, mineral oils, dirt and other foreign matter. It maintains a
good head of foam in the presence of above materials and contributes
body and lubricity. A Pre-requeste for a good filling formula.
Treated with
LPD-25, gives glaze to the fabric, even in the check cloth, it will not
effect the shade of the check (i.e. the colours will not bleed).
In most fulling
formulas, LPD-25 should replace soap on a pound for pound basis. Cost
and performance wise it equals or surpasses soap in almost every
respect. Where the finisher feels that soap imparts a particular hand
to a fabric that connot be duplicated any other way, the advantages of
using a synthetic can still be obtained by substituting a portion of
the soap with LPD-25. By this means, the hard water stability, the free
rinsing properties, etc. of the synthetic are retained in the formula
and there is no sacrifice on the hand of the fabric.

Specifications
LPD-25
is a compatible soaps, detergents, alkalis and builders. At though
chemically anionic it may be employed in mildly acidic systems without
showing any instability or sepration.
Usage
Woolen / Shoddy / Worsted Fabrics
Milling Agent
It
is a very economical anduseful agent for milling of Woolen / Shoddy /
Worsted Fabrics with 70% or more wool contents with 10% solution of
LPD-25 and 3-4% addition of sulphuric acid (To make the Ph
3-4) makes the perfect solution for milling the results are magnificant
with advantage of softness, weight gain and least droppage.
Washing Agent
LPD-25
is the latest invention in synthetic Detergents, Cost and Performance
wise it equals for surpasses soap in almost every respect where the
finisher feels that soap imparts a particular hand to a fabric that
annot be duplicated by any other way.
Scouring & Sizing Agent
With
5% of volumes of LPD-25 and 94% volume of water mixed with 1% of liquid
amonia is the best combination for scouring in the cold bath.
